Tournament Rules

Gameplay Rules

  • You can use any mod as long as it remains on your side of the screen and doesn't offer any advantage. Example: reverse is allowed, mirror is not.
  • CMOD is not allowed, M-MOD or X-MOD are mandatory.
  • Decents and way offs will be active with early rescore enabled.
  • Only songs from the tournament packs will be played, except in finals.
  • Players who don't show up when it's their turn to play will receive 0 points for any song not played. If you need to step away briefly, please let us know in advance and we'll ensure some tolerance is given.
  • If something isn't right at the beginning of a song, stop IMMEDIATELY and raise your hand. The round will be stopped and restarted.
  • If you have a problem during a song, stop without distracting other players, wait for others to finish, and ask staff for help.
  • In case of obvious technical issues, you'll be allowed to replay the song while staff investigates the problem.
  • Bracket phase: At the end of this phase, there will be 16 or 8 players left. Groups of 8 players compete in bracket matches, with only 4 advancing from each.
  • Final phase: The 4 remaining players compete in 1v1 matches. Semifinals determine who advances to the final match and who competes for 3rd place.

General Rules

  • Participants can't use spraypaints on their shoes/socks.
  • Participants can't change settings on the system. If a participant doesn't like a specific setting (e.g., noteskin), they can ask the staff to change it for them. The same applies for pads.
  • If a pad issue occurs during a tournament match that significantly affects performance, the song can be restarted if identified immediately.
  • Participants must respect all other players. If a player intentionally tries to disturb other participants or doesn't respect the staff's instructions, they can be disqualified.
  • All matches in the main tournament use the ITG EX scoring system.
  • Every player plays every song in a match. Results are based on the sum of points from all songs.
  • Mods are allowed if they don't break the game. Staff can restrict certain mods if needed.
  • If there's a tie after all songs in a match, a tiebreaker song will be played.
  • Remember the most important thing: have fun!

Conduct & Etiquette

  • Come clean and presentable; bring towels, a change of clothes, and deodorant. It's normal to sweat during the tournament, but let's stay presentable.
  • Never put talcum powder directly on the pads! If you really need to use it, apply a small amount under your feet before playing and clean up after yourself for the next player.
  • We reserve the right to penalize or even disqualify you if you disturb other players, damage the machines, abuse the rules, or try to cheat. Use common sense, play fairly, and behave appropriately.
  • Your qualification scores must reflect your actual skills. If it's obvious you've cheated, you'll be immediately promoted to a higher division. The tournament is for fun, but fair play is not optional.
  • In any large group, there's potential for discord. We ask you to maintain civil behavior and treat everyone respectfully for the benefit of all participants. If you're disturbed in any way, report it immediately.
  • Remember the most important thing: have fun!
