How do qualifications work?

All players must play some qualification songs to determine their division. You can play at home or in an arcade, on any ITG system. The only requirements are NOT to use C-mod on songs with BPM changes and not to disable decents/way offs. Early rescore is allowed.

Based on your scores, you'll be placed in one of the four divisions. To access a particular division, you must exceed a specific threshold. The classic ITG score will be evaluated to ensure maximum compatibility for all players.

DivisionQualification Requirement
Upper divisionAt least 96% on upper qualifications
Mid divisionAt least 93% on mid qualifications
Lower divisionAt least 90% on lower qualifications
Novice divisionLess than 90% on lower qualifications

You can choose to play in a division higher than the one you qualified for if you wish. However, you cannot choose to play in a division lower than the one you qualified for. Qualification songs will be provided in advance on the event's linktree.

How does the tournament format work?

4 ITGmania cabinets connected with sync start - 8 players at once!

Participants will be divided into groups of 8 players. They will play a predetermined number of songs, changing pads for each song.

Each player receives points based on their percentage compared to others. The total points collected after all songs in a round determines advancement or elimination.

Sync Start allows playing in LAN by connecting multiple cabinets.

All events, except where specified otherwise, will follow a format with successive phases:

Phase 1: Ranking Phase - 16 or more players

Players are placed in one or more groups, each with its own ranking. The goal of this phase is to reduce the number of players to 8 (if starting with at least 16) or 16 (if starting with at least 20), with only the top players from each group advancing.

Phase 2: Brackets - 16 or 8 players

The remaining players will face off in matches where only 4 out of 8 advance. After this phase, only the 4 best players will remain.

Final Phase - 4 players

The 4 remaining players will play a semifinal round to determine the finalists and the match for 3rd/4th place. The two pairs of players will each play a 1v1 round for the podium.

What songs will be played in the tournament?

The song list for the main events will be largely inspired by and coordinated with ITL 2025 and Stamina RPG. This way, even before the tournament packs are released, you can get an idea of the types of songs you might find and start practicing.
